"Italian Interlude"

 The City of Auckland Singers hosted this event at the elegant

                                  country  residence of

       "SAPPHIRE RIDGE", 209 Broomfields Road, Whitford, on

  Sunday 13^th March to fundraise for our trip to Italy in July 2011

Hot and cold fancy Italian  finger food (including gluten-free) was

served to you.   A choice of quality wine was on offer, as well

as non-alcoholic punch.

The ART EXHIBITION AND SALE in the Gallery featured new

original  works by N.Z. artists,  Dan Mulvagh and Alanah Paterson.

There were also fine quality pre-loved lithographs,

watercolours and paintings  from private collections on sale.

Our  GUEST ARTIST was: Kerry Scurr, soprano,

QUALITY CRAFTS – painted stones, sewing, handmade cards, knitted

cupcake tea cosies, jewellery, fudge and wooden tubs proved so

popular at our last event that there was an opportunity to purchase

these from the stalls in the atrium.

THREE FABULOUS RAFFLES - three big baskets crammed with fine wine and Italian goodies! and to finish we had a bottle auction. 100 peaople attended.
