Although our choir numbers usually sit at 24 singers, we are always interested in meeting new singers. We are a mixed voice choir singing in 4 - 6 part harmony. Most of our music is accompanied by either piano or keyboard. Our main focus is popular music with some movement and costume changes. But we also have some 'classic' songs and our repertoire includes some traditional Maori and New Zealand folksongs and contemporary 20th century music which we sang at the 50th International Competition of Choral Singing, Seghizzi, Gorizia, Italy in July 2011. We have talented singers and there are performance opportunities for solos, duets etc.
Our members are welcoming and enjoy a chat at supper time. We also have fun at social get-togethers and these are great for including partners.
If you have singing experience and a reasonable ability to read music, we'd like to hear from you.

p.m. February - early December
You are welcome to come along to rehearsals, by arrangement.
Concert Dress
Smart presentation is very important. The group has a wardrobe of outfits and accessories which will be loaned to you.
